The Principal's Message
Welcome to Sisters Elementary School!
At Sisters Elementary, we believe the foundation for lifelong learning begins with curiosity, connection, and care. Our school is a joyful, nurturing place where children feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. We are committed to ensuring that every child who walks through our doors feels a sense of belonging and possibility.
Elementary school is where students first discover who they are as learners and as members of a community. It’s where they learn to ask big questions, try new things, solve problems, and care deeply about themselves and others. At SES, we value the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our teachers and staff work together to create a safe, inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to grow, explore, and shine.
What sets our school apart is our unwavering focus on relationships. We believe that strong relationships between students, staff, and families are the heart of a successful school experience. We strive to know every student by name and need, celebrating their individual strengths while helping them rise to challenges. We also know that families are a child’s first teachers, and we deeply value our partnership with you. Open communication, shared goals, and community events are just a few ways we stay connected and work together to support student success.
Our classrooms are places of wonder, creativity, and rigorous learning. Whether students are reading a favorite book, growing food in our beautiful new greenhouse, expressing themselves through art and music, or playing cooperatively on the playground, they are building the skills and confidence they’ll carry with them for life.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or have been part of the SES family for years, we are thrilled to have you as part of our community. Together, we are helping our students belong, prepare, and be inspired—today and for all the days ahead.
With gratitude and excitement,
Megan Storey
