The last day of school holds a special tradition for Sisters Elementary Students. Local fire departments from Sisters and the Camp Sherman area are on hand to host a “Spray the Kids Day” at Sisters Elementary School. Multiple fire trucks are on hand, and it is a highly anticipated event. Shouts of laughter and delight can be heard all around when the Kindergarten through Fourth grade students get soaked with water from the high velocity fire hoses. Some elementary students have been known to break out their knee-high rubber soled boots and umbrellas in anticipation of being soaked. Always a fun and exciting way to end the school year!
